The Blockade Runner Beach Resort in celebration of it's 60th Anniversary is holding a contest giving away 60 room nights at $16 per room night - the original price of rooms in 1964. Guests who win these rooms have the following rules and restrictions when redeeming:
*Winners will receive ONE (1) $16 room night
*Redemption valid for Harborfront Guestroom arriving Sunday through Wednesday, based on availability. Guests may pay for upgraded room type.
*If length of stay requirement is in place for stay dates requested, minimum length of stay must be met and additional nights will have the Best Available Rate applied.
*One winner per household
*Cannot be combined with other special offers and packages
*Taxes and fees not included
*Blackout dates apply during weekends, holidays, and special events
*Rooms must be booked by April 25, 2024 for stays through June 27, 2024.

Check-in is at 4:00 pm. Check-out is at 11:00 am. Must be 21 years of age to stay with valid ID and major credit card. Personal checks and cash are typically not accepted. Cash accepted at check-out only. Authorization on credit card required at check-in for incidentals.

Please ensure we are aware of any early arrival requests. Although not guaranteed, we will do our best to accommodate. We will have limited late checkouts of 1pm available (additional $75 fee). Please reserve a late checkout in advance.

Additional fees include a 13% sales and occupancy tax and a $19 nightly parking fee. People age 13 and over are marked as adults; each additional adult, more than two, will be a $35 charge per night.

If cancelling within 48 hours of 4 pm on the day of arrival, your one night deposit will be forfeited.  When booking advance purchase or e-special rates, full deposit would be forfeited if reservation is cancelled. Cancellation policies subject to change depending on the specific rate or package booked. 

While we can not guarantee special requests (such as connecting rooms, adjoining rooms, specific room numbers, décor or floors, rollaways, cribs, etc.), we will make every effort to honor your special requests.

Blockade Runner is 100% pet free. There is a $500 deep cleaning fee for non-compliance.

Handicap rooms are available only in certain Oceanfront Queen Rooms and Harborfront Queen Rooms. Please contact us prior to your arrival to secure one of these rooms.

The front desk is happy to assist you in getting ice delivered to your room. To minimize noise level in our hallways, we do not have ice machines on any of the floors. Please visit or call the front desk or kitchen and they will gladly help.

The wristbands must be visibly worn to indicate you are a resort guest. All resorts guests are asked to wear them to indicate to others that you are a registered guest.

Our resort is open to visitors of resort guests; however, only guests with a wristband are permitted to use the pool, lawn loungers and other on-site amenities. Non-guests are always welcome to dine at the Resort Restaurant and Pool Bar.

Luggage assistance is available from our bellmen. Valet parking is available or guests may self-park in our main parking lot. A $19 parking fee per car per day is included in your room rate. The $19 fee includes two vehicles. 1 vehicle can self park and 1 vehicle can valet.

Housekeeping will provide stayover service daily. Please utilize your Do Not Disturb sign should you wish to decline housekeeping services.

If we know prior to arrival that you need a rollaway or pack n play we will have them in the room. Rollaways and Pack n Plays are limited and subject to availability. If available, only one can be provided per room.

Beach wheelchairs are available through the town of Wrightsville beach, reservations must be completed in advance with the Town of Wrightsville Beach. Click here to find more information.

The beach is open year round. All of our boating activities are available subject to weather conditions. Check our calendar to see what is available during your stay.

The fitness center, hot tub, and sauna are open all year. Please note that children under the age of 15 are not permitted to use the fitness center without an adult present and children under the age of 13 are not permitted to use the hot tub or sauna without an adult present.

Our Resort Restaurant serves food daily. Please make reservations in advance through our Restaurant, or you can call the Restaurant directly. Restaurant hours and menus may be limited depending on the season, please call or visit the Resort Dining page to verify hours.

The Pool Bar is open seasonally serving food and cocktails. Credit cards and room charges are accepted at the pool bar. Outside guests are allowed at all of our dining outlets.

Yes, there are numerous restaurants within close proximity to the hotel. A handful of downtown Wrightsville Beach restaurants are within safe walking distance of the resort. ELIGIBILITY: By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules (“Official Rules”) and the decisions of the Sponsor. Entries received after the expiration of the Sweepstakes period are not eligible to win. To be eligible to win entrant: 1. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of registration; and 2. Must have entered the sweepstakes by completing the form online. Should a court of law find the Sponsor liable for loss or damage, the Sponsor’s liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Contest, and in no event shall the Sponsor be liable for attorney’s fees. Sponsor and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents will have no liability whatsoever for entries that are late, incomplete, or not received for any reason. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION: All issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and/or enforceability of these official rules or the rights and obligations of entrants in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of North Carolina without giving any effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other state’s laws. By entering into this Sweepstakes, each entrant consents to have all disputes resolved in the State of North Carolina Court. Except where prohibited, the entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any Prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resorting to any form of class action.
